Golf Reviews and Golf Swing Tips

Me and my friend are juniors in high school and we are going to try out for the golf team. The downside of it is we are the first girls to ever join or even tryout for the golf team. We have never played a full game of golf either. This week was vacation and we have putted and swung a lot. I hope we are ready. The only thing we really need to do know is play a 9 – hole game, we have played on the wii though. Does anybody have any golf advice, tips, or even words of wisdom which we can think about for when we tryout??

This is what I have learned after 12 years of golf.

1. line up the ball with your front heel for driver, gradually move ball back towards to the center of your stance for each club until the pitching wedge, which is directly in the center.

2. Bend knees slightly.

3. Keep good posture in your back (like how you are supposed to sit in a chair), dont "hunch" over the ball.

4. take a smooth, slow backswing while keeping your arms extended and focus on making a full shoulder turn (your back should almost be faceing the target at the top of the swing). Also, try not to let your hips rotate back at all until the top half of your backswing, then let them turn about half as far as your shoulders. The torque increases as the hip turn is minimized and the shoulder turn is maximized (the resistance is like stretching a rubber band.)

5. During the backswing, dont allow your hips to shift laterally. Imagine that someone is pushing on your hip and wont let you slide it backwards during the backswing. But still shift your weight to the back foot.

6. Initiate the down swing by pushing the weight off your back foot to your front, twisting your hips and whipping your shoulders thru. All while maintaining the connection of your arms and shoulders (keeping the club infront of your chest and not letting your arms fold across your chest.)

7. let your wrist natural un hinge and release through the ball.

8. golf is a mental game. it is sometimes better to not focus too much on where the shot will go and trying to control it, all you can do is to swing with good form and hope that you hit it good.

Rapid Fat Loss System Review

Posted by admin on Aug-30-2009

PGA professional golfers like Camilo Villegas, Tiger Woods, Annika Sorenstam, and Lorena Ochoa, all follow a total golfing fitness plan to get to the pinnacle of their game and to remain there. Now, this would possibly not be for everyone, but if you’re looking for the modern approach to golfing, then you want a complete golf fitness plan.

With that said, there is a program from Craig Ballantyne, an internationally famous Certificated Strength and Conditioning Expert and Susan Hill, a nationally recognized golf fitness coach and author for many mags like Golf Illustrated. It’s a complete golf fitness plan called Rapid Fat Loss System for golfers.

If you have become deterred with the way you look and the way you play golf, this program could be for you. You might need a total overhaul or perhaps just some key physical adjustments.

The Rapid Fat Loss, Build Lean Muscle program will work for you, if you are noticeably over weight and wish to get in better shape; if you are feeling feeble, knackered and frustrated with your energy levels on or off the golf course; are a competitive collegiate or junior golfer in need of vital muscle gain; or you would like more out of your game and are not frightened to ask for help.

This program is a 2 part progress; the 1st is the fat loss system for golfers and the 2nd is about muscle gain for golfers. It’s all about being lean, strong, and long off the tee.

Ballantyne and Hill’s golf fitness plan gives you all the details and steps required on the way to loose fat and get lean as fast as you want. You get their secret methodology of getting lean fast and their cardiovascular interval systems, all built to get the fat off and getting you lean.

The golf strength training exercises part is actually very detailed with beginning and finishing photographs for each exercise. It’s a golfing exercise program that focuses on your golf specific muscles and advances from beginner to intermediate and onto advanced levels from 1 to 4.

Their plan is designed around only three 40 minute workouts per week for a total of just two hours a week – now that may be a fitness program which will be satisfactory to everybody! With just two hours a week, you will burn fat, build muscle, and sculpt your body into the ideal lean shape for golf (think Tiger’s physique!) You will look good and you will play miles better golf out on the course.

Those golf swing experts that tell you even an oversized golfer can hit the ball long and straight, aren’t seeing the full picture – they just need you to buy their latest golf swing guide!

In my experience, I have discovered that you have to work on each facet of your game – golf swing, flexibility, strength, and your overall fitness level. With the complete golf fitness plan called Rapid Fat Loss System, you’ll be set to play the best golf of your life and for many years to come.

When you have developed your golf specific muscles, and you are leaner and stronger, then you can find that you’re going to have improved balance, staying power, and even your golf swing will come more naturally to you. The modern approach to golfing awaits you; do something today if you would like to be the best golfer you can possibly be.
