I recently wrote a review about how to increase your golf distance and accuracy with Jaacob Bowden’s Swing Man Golf Online Training Community program. As so many people are interested in learning how to drive long off the tee, here is a review of the Speed Stik.

Within the golf swing aids category, there are hundreds of products to choose from. The majority of them are not worth your time or money, and I must admit, the first time I saw the Speed Stik I didn’t pay much attention to it. It seamed like such a simple device and I didn’t think it could possibly help my golf swing. Now, I have a different opinion of the Speed Stik – so let’s take a closer look at this golf swing aid.

As you most likely know, to be able to hit a golf ball further, you have to increase your golf swing speed. A lot of golfers have difficulty increasing their club-head speed as they associate more distance with just trying to hit the ball harder. So, this is the first thing the Speed Stik can do for you – increase your distance by increasing your golf swing speed.

The average male golfer swings at 90 mph which results in an average distance of just over 225 yards. The average female golfer swings at 70 mph and therefore can hit the ball 175 yards on average. So, if you want to hit the ball 250 to 300 yards, you will have to increase your swing speed up to 100 or 120 mph.

The Speed Stik is a weighted stick that is longer than a driver. It comes in two different weights depending on how much you weigh. Some serious golfers have both Speed Stiks; the heavier one to build up strength and flexibility, and the lighter one to increase swing speed. As speed builds on speed, you will increase your speed gradually until you finally reach your maximum balanced speed.

So that you can see how fast you are swinging, the Speed Stik comes with a built in speed gauge. All you have to do is swing the stick and check the gauge to see how many MPH you have swung. This way, you get instant, accurate, and reliable feedback to track your progress on a daily basis. This positive feedback will serve to inspire, encourage, and motivate you to do the drills on a daily basis.

What else can the Speed Stik do for you? It will improve the efficiency of your golf swing, strengthen your golf specific muscles, increase your flexibility, improve your sense of balance, improve and enhance the coordination between your upper and lower body, and ultimately it will give you explosive power for more distance. As a result, your over-all golf swing and confidence level will improve dramatically.

Did you know that the likes of Vijay Singh, Arnold Palmer, Jose Maria Olazabal, Kenny Perry, and Miguel Angel Jimenez all use and recommend this product? If it works for those guys, then it will sure help the average golfer to reach their full potential on the golf course.

Just imagine, if you buy The Speed Stik today, you will be just 15 days away from swinging faster, hitting the ball farther, scoring better and gaining more enjoyment from your golf game.

For the price and the effectiveness of this golf swing training aid, I recommend the Speed Stik to every golfer that wants to improve their game. There is also a junior version available so that any youngster can get of to a great start with their golf game.

NOTE: As this is a weighted golf swing aid, you should use it to gradually build up your swing speed. Do NOT try to swing it as fast as you can or you could injure yourself. Dislike: I would like to see a proper golf grip attached to this golf swing aid as the end of the Speed Stik that you grip doesn’t feel right.
