First of all, I should be in a good position to give you this Golf Swing Book review because I am a golfer of many years and also I have a copy of the Golf Swing Book. Bobby Eldridge is both the author and the inventor of The Full Swing and has spent 30 years perfecting it. In case you don’t know, Bobby is the head teaching professional at Purepoint Golf.

So, what makes the Full Swing different to the traditional swing? The problem with the traditional swing is that it is just so hard to learn and it takes years of practice to master. That is in fact the reason that Eldridge decided to develop the Full Swing.

The Golf Swing Book

One of the first things to strike me when I read the Golf Swing Book was that it is only 31 pages. But, believe me, there is a lot of detailed instruction in those pages. There is no theory or fluff, just 100% step-by-step golf swing instruction with dozens of easy to understand photos.

Step-by-Step Instruction

The secret to the Golf Swing Book is that the golf swing is broken down into 8 lessons covering each step of the golf swing. Each lesson is then broken down into easily digestible parts with accompanying photos. For example, the backswing is covered in 2 chapters and a total of 8 parts, and includes 19 photos.

Beginners, Average, and Below Average Golfers

If you are a beginner then this book will give you the perfect start. If, like me, you are an average (struggling) golfer, then you will be amazed at how quickly you will improve. You can forget about breaking 100, with The Golf Swing Book you will be breaking 80!

I have been playing golf for 30+ years and I never somehow “got it” – I had taken one-on-one golf lessons several times, but not one of those professional instructors could make me understand all the steps that go into making a perfect golf swing. Well, after going through this book, I immediately picked out several key components that no one had ever taught me before.

The Results

Using the methods of the Full Swing, I dropped 10 shots and improved my distance and consistency. If you have read my Golf Swing Guru review, you will know that I switched to the Simple Golf Swing because of lower back surgery and a subsequent car crash. The Golf Swing Guru is by David Nevogt who is also from Purepoint Golf – both swings are excellent and will give you the results you desire.

The good news is that you can learn and master the Full Swing in as little as 2 weeks. Eldridge guarantees that you will be able to hit the ball further and with greater accuracy. There is no reason why you can’t drop 7 to 12 shots or even break 80, no matter how bad you are playing right now. After all, the Golf Swing Book has a success rate of 95%.

No Excuses Not to Improve Your Golf Swing

To me, the Golf Swing Book is a fantastic resource with its step-by-step instruction and many photos. It is so easy to understand and to put into practice. But, also included is Eldridge’s Full Swing DVD, which is Purepoint Golf’s best selling product and is valued at more than the price of the book.

If that is not enough, you also get full membership into Eldridge’s Golf Apprentice Program. That’s his special year-long Program for a few golfers who want to be better golfers. It’s designed to show you step-by-step how to become the golfer you always wanted to be. Read my review of the Golf Apprentice Program.

Stop Struggling with Your Golf Swing

I hope that you have learned in this Golf Swing Book Review why I feel that the Full Swing that Bobby Eldridge teaches will improve your golf swing and your game. I do not believe that you can lose with this book – if it was just the Golf Swing Book you were to receive, then you would be getting great value for money. But with the Full Swing DVD plus the Golf Apprentice Program – well, it is a no-brainer folks!
