    a. Make sure you start the swing with your weight positioned on your back foot, which would raise your front shoulder.
    b. on your backswing, you want your right arm to be straight when bringing your right shoulder under your chin. But make sure you dont swing your hips back with your arms. And also you want to have your club perpendicular with the ground.
    c. Come straight down with the club making sure you dont open or close the face so that your ball will fly straight.
    d. And finally on your follow through, swing your hips around as hard as you can, so you can put power on it. Good Luck

Keep your head down throughout the swing. Left arm straight on backswing. Most important, don't try to kill it. It's more important to make a proper connection with the clubface/ball than it is to swing hard or fast. The best shots should feel effortless, and if you're swinging correctly it won't feel like you're trying to swing fast or hit the ball hard.

There are so many good tips out there. The following two help me stay on track. First, do not jerk the club back on the backswing. Bring it back as if it had a hinge which will break if you bring it back to fast. Second, make sure that your finish has you with your belt buckle pointing straight at the target on full swings. After making a full swing, see how close your ball lands to where your belt buckle ended up pointing.
